Sunsphere Signs is a small family owned sign company based in Fountain City, TN across from the duck pond. The Moore's have been working up to this for decades. It started in 1979. Dale and Sandy and their son, John started Competitor's Auto Trim in West Knoxville off on Kingston Pike. Art has always been a big part of their lives. John and Dale started striping cars and Sandy did the book keeping and helped run the showroom. Dale was a fantastic artist with talents in multiple medias including vinyl. John and Yvette Moore worked together at a dealership and Yvette eventually started Tennessee Window Films doing commercial and residential window tint. In her business many of the customers she came across had needs for indoor and outdoor signage as well as vehicle and window graphics. From there, it made sense to start a sign shop to be a sister company to Tennessee Window Films. While Sunsphere signs is a new company, they are not new to the sign and graphic business, with decades of experience. With John's background in vehicle wraps and vinyl lettering, Yvette's background in Window film and great customer base and Janell's background in graphic design and eye for color it came together perfectly. Sunsphere Signs is anxious to help their fellow small business owners grow and flourish.
